Singing for Pleasure recently presented a cheque for £300.00 to LAMP, the Luton Accommodation and Move - On Project together with a promise to make LAMP the beneficiaries of our 2009 Christmas Concert. As a relatively small, local charity, LAMP constantly battle to raise enough money to meet the demands made on them while trying to ensure that an inordinate amount of resources are not absorbed by the fund raising itself. The Singing for Pleasure concerts represent a chance for LAMP to leave most of the effort to someone else for a change. |
